Comcast CGA4332 Bridge Mode Configuration

Follow these steps to deactivate the routing functions, internal DHCP servers, and wireless broadcasts on the Business Wireless Gateway 4 (CGA4332), passing the clean external connection straight to your custom edge network.

Step 1: Access the Gateway Administration Panel

Connect your computer directly to the 2.5GbE LAN Port 1 on the rear of the CGA4332 appliance with an Ethernet cable. Open your web browser tool and load the local management portal address:

Input the default gateway operator profile information to pass through the authentication screen:

Username: cusadmin
Password: highspeed

Step 2: Toggle Bridge Mode

To drop the router down to a transparent modem Layer 2 bridge footprint:

Locate the Bridge Mode setting switch. Select the toggle to turn the mode Enabled. Accept the warning dialog pop-up confirming that localized routing, built-in security controls, and private Wi-Fi signals will drop off.

The device interface will save the active configuration scripts and cycle the system hardware power automatically. Allow the unit 3 minutes to settle completely.

Step 3: Connect and Verify Your Firewall Router

Unplug your computer link from the device. Connect your dedicated firewall router's WAN uplink port directly into **LAN Port 1** on the CGA4332 unit. Check your network router console to verify it has successfully obtained the public IP assignment block without any secondary carrier NAT layers.
